As per the channel report, smart cards, equipped with advanced features, will not only streamline processes but also help curb fake registrations.
The channel reported that the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department has advised the vehicle owners to switch to smart cards before the deadline.
The channel reported that this innovative step aligns with Sindh's commitment to modernisation and transparency.
A formal notification has already been issued by the Excise Department to ensure smooth implementation of the new system.
