Asif criticises Babar’s captaincy, Wahab’s bowling after Zalmi's defeat

Former Pakistan pacer Muhammad Asif was unhappy with the way Babar Azam led his team in the match against Peshawar Zalmi and also criticised the bowling approach of Wahab as well.

Taking in the "PSL Hungama" show of 24 News, Asif said Babar did not change the bowlers, due to which he was beaten in the field and lost the match.

He praised Multan Sultans and said that Multan played by changing the bowlers, and Rizwan did a good captaincy.

Asif said there is a question mark on the bowling of Wahab Riaz and despite being such an experienced bowler if he bowls in this way and will bowl no balls then it will raise questions.

He said he was not impressed with Peshawar's bowling at all.

He was also all praise for Multan Sultans' young bowling sensation Ihsanullah and said he bowled smartly and the way he dismissed Babar is the sign of a very good bowler. “Bowling like that on a flat wicket is truly amazing.”

Haris, Saim impress Yousaf

Former Pakistan captain Muhammad Yousaf was impressed with the batting of two Peshawar Zalmi youngsters for their contribution with the bat in the losing cause in the match against Multan Sultans.

Taking in the "PSL Hungama" show of 24 News, Yousaf said Peshawar Zalmi’s wicketkeeper batter Muhammad Haris impressed him a lot the way he played.

“He was very good and can pose a serious threat to other teams in the upcoming matches.”

He said Saim Ayub also played an aggressive innings which was very enjoyable to watch.

Yousaf said Ihsanullah and Usama Mir, who got 3 wickets each and changed the direction of the match, if continued to play in the same way, they can become a permanent feature of the national team.
