A nine-member Punjab government special medical board formed to examine former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s medical file has submitted its report to the Health Department that Nawaz’s medical reports were ‘incomplete’ and, they could not give any advice in the light of these incomplete reports, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The medical board which was comprised senior doctors and formed on the directions of the federal government reviewed the reports of the PML-N supremo and submitted their deliberations to the Health Department.

The medical panel said, “Incomplete medical reports were submitted before the board and they could not give any advice till the availability of new medical reports of Nawaz Sharif.”

The board said that it could not comment on the current health condition of Nawaz Sharif. The government has received the medical board report headed by Dr Arif Nadeem.

The medical team said that instead of Nawaz Sharif cardiac, thrombocytopenia and other reports from any international institution, a statement by a doctor has been provided to the board.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib Tuesday said that Nawaz Sharif had not got any medical treatment in London and became an absconder to escape the accountability process.

“Nawaz Sharif was a certified thief and robber and charge of corruption had been proved against him and the Supreme Court had disqualified Nawaz Sharif, who will have to return to face accountability cases,” he added.

He said the government was ready to give Nawaz Sharif a return ticket but his place was Adiala Jail.

“Nawaz Sharif will have to return to the country and give an account of his corruption and looted wealth”, he said.
