The Law Ministry on Saturday issued a gazette notification of appointment of three additional judges to the Balochistan High Court (BHC).
The Law Ministry has issued the notification after president’s approval of the appointments.
Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Ayub Khan and Najam-ud-Din have been appointed additional judges to the BHC. According to the notification, these judges have been appointed for one year.
On Friday, the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP), at a meeting presided over by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, approved the appointment of three additional judges to the Balochistan High Court (BHC) for one year.
According to a statement by the JCP, a meeting of the commission was held in the conference room of the Supreme Court.
In the meeting, the JCP unanimously approved the names of SC lawyers Mohammad Asif, Muhammad Ayub Khan, and by a majority decision finalised the appointment of SC lawyer Muhammad Najamuddin Mengal as additional judges of BHC.
