The ruling coalition partners will be meeting on Tuesday to mull over the situation that emerged after the PTI victory in Punjab by-polls, PML-N leader said on Sunday.
The meeting of the coalition parties is being summoned Tuesday to devise the future strategy, Khawaja Saad told the media after the victory of PTI against the PML-N in the latter’s stronghold.
Flanked by other leaders, Saad stressed that the government bore the brunt of Imran Khan's wrongdoings. However, he said the political war and struggle of the PML-N will go on.
The PTI’s victory has proved that the state and the government did not manipulate the election and ex-premier Imran Khan and his associates are liars, Saad said.
Earlier, PML-N VP Maryam Nawaz too admitted her party's defeat and laid stress on identifying weaknesses and measures to fix the mistakes.
In a series of tweets, Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said the coalition government led by PML-N has set a precedent of democratic norms by holding free and fair elections.
