Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former speaker of the national assembly Asad Qaiser has expressed his concerns over the alleged abduction of PTI lawmakers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a statement on Wednesday, he claimed that PTI members are being forcibly taken from their homes in a series of disturbing incidents.

“Our members are being abducted from their homes,” said Qaiser, highlighting a recent incident where Muzaffar Garh's PTI member, Moazzam Jatoi, was allegedly kidnapped from his home during the night.

He added that reports suggested that the Anti-Corruption Department was responsible for this act.

He also revealed that last night, there was a raid on the home of Jamshed Dasti, during which the sanctity of his home was violated.

“How can any member be arrested without informing the Speaker of the National Assembly?” questioned Qaiser.

He added that just a few days ago, PTI member Aamir Sultan was allegedly kidnapped from his home in Jhang.

Asad Qaiser expressed his concern over the treatment of parliamentarians, questioning the fate of ordinary citizens if such actions are taken against elected representatives.

“If this is how parliamentarians are treated, what must be happening to the common man?” he asked.

Qaiser demanded the immediate release of all abducted PTI members. “If there is any case against our members, they should be presented in court,” he insisted.

He accused the government of resorting to fascism following the Supreme Court's decision, describing their actions as panic-driven and misguided.

He further stated, “You are mistaken if you think you can suppress PTI and deprive it of its rights.”

“We will contest this both inside and outside the parliament for true freedom in Pakistan.”

Asad Qaiser warned that the party is being pushed to the brink, and urged that the campaign to marginalize PTI must end.
