After Justice (retd) Mushir Alam’s refusal, Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar has also decided against being appointed to the Supreme Court as an ad hoc judge, reported 24NewsHD TV channel, quoting sources.

Baqar’s announcement came days after Justice (retd) Mushir Alam turned down the offer to work as an ad hoc judge for a three-year term.

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP), headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, is scheduled to meet on Friday to consider the appointment of four retired apex court judges.
