In one bold and a ‘novel’ suggestion given to the Election Commission, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has called for imposing a complete ban on all kinds of announcements or wall chalking done in support of any Pakistani political leader, belonging to any political party, during electioneering in the territory, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Holding posters pasted on walls during the election days responsible for making political situation more tense, the prime minister also demanded imposing a ban on them.
Raja Farooq Haider also put some pungent questions to the Election Commission.
He asked as to what action the Election Commission had taken against the candidate of a political party who had ‘attacked’ government offices.
Similarly, the question as to what action the EC had taken against the political parties which were taking out rallies and holding public gatherings in the AJK despite prohibition by the authorities, the latter was rendered speechless.
Likewise, AJK prime minister asked, “Did the Election Commission take notice of the leakage of candidates’ audio calls?
