The Punjab government has included the Khatm-e-Nabuwat column in the Nikah Nama, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.
The Punjab local government department on Friday issued a notification in this regard after the approval of provincial cabinet.
As per the notification, the bride, bridegroom, Nikah Khawan and witnesses will be required to present their Khtam-e-Nabuwat certificates at the time of the Nikah ceremony.
The local government department has also forwarded the copy of the notice to the law department for gazette notification.
Now the soon-to-be couple will have to provide the certificate declaring Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the last prophet of Allah and disowning Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.
