Another two special flights operated by the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Monday brought home hundreds of Pakistanis stranded in Saudi Arabia and the United States of America.
As the government continues to pull out Pakistanis stranded in the United States, a PIA flight (PK 8712) brought 250 passengers stranded in New Jersey to Lahore. The passengers were first screened for coronavirus and then quarantined at different places.
Another PIA flight brought home 142 Pakistanis stranded in Saudi Arabia for the last several weeks. The PIA operated its flight (PK 8764) between Jeddah and Faisalabad. Umrah pilgrims and iqama holders were also aboard the flight. The passengers were scanned at the airport and then quarantined at various places.
