Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise and Taxation Department on a tipoff conducted a raid and seized 20 kilograms of heroin that was being smuggled to Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The Excise Department along with Swabi police conducted a successful raid and seized huge amount of drugs.
The drugs were seized from the car number 4114 when it was searched and confirmed that 20 kg of heroin was about to smuggle to Punjab from KP.
Excise department spokesperson said that the department has lodged an FIR against smuggling attempt at Excise Police Station Mardan region.
