Fire breaks out at Namco Centre in Karachi

Rescue 1122 and fire-brigade teams brought the fire which erupted in five-storey building of Namco Centre in Saddar area of Karachi on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The fire-fighters were able to bring the blaze under control after hectic efforts of more than one hour.
Cooling process was underway by using smoke exhaust and pressurization fans.
Residents of the area said that fire was erupted due to electric short-circuit.
Soon after the incident, an elderly man was injured after jumping from the building in a bid to save himself.
Some of the offices established in Namco Centre belonged to lawyers’ community.
