Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif said Monday the PTI government has snatched people's right to live, as he heavily condemned the rising inflation, reported 24NewsHD TV.

Taking a jibe at the government while addressing the National Assembly, Shehbaz said the foreign exchange of the country is used in such a way that economy is wrecked.

Talking about the Liquid Natural Gas Scandal, the leader of the opposition said that Prime Minister chanted the slogan of not giving any concession to the culprits but it’s been over a year, and no one has been declared guilty in the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) case.

Moreover, the opposition leader attacked the current regime and said the government closed the modern power plants.

Giving his view on LNG rate, he said the spot rate was very cheap, but the government did not avail the opportunity.

“LNG was $10 in Nawaz Sharif’d era but now it reached to $56, due to negligence of the government.”

In the country, every child is bearing witness to the worst regime in the last 74 years", added Shehbaz.

He slammed the government’s economic policies and said there is not a single commonality in the governance of PTI and Riyasat-e-Madinah.

“No one ever slept hungry in Riyasat e Madinah, ideal justice existed there, and everyone was given their rights, which is not the case in Naya Pakistan”, he added.

Shehbaz also mentioned the name of President Arif Alvi and said that Mr President said that the “economy of the country is going to the right direction”.

He said the situation is in contrast to what President Alvi addressed earlier, as today, even a prestigious person is forced to beg.

The opposition leader said a salaried person who earns 20,000 has a sole option of eating or pay an electricity bill.
