A meeting of the federal cabinet will be held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the five-point agenda that includes solving the challenges faced by Roosevelt Hotel in New York that is owned by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to the official sources, the Ministry of Energy will give a briefing on measures to prevent power theft and line losses in the country.
Five divisions will give a briefing on changing the word ‘federal government’ to ‘authority’.
The aviation, cabinet, climate change, commerce and communication divisions will give briefings.
The PIA’s Roosevelt Hotel in New York will also be part of the agenda.
The federal cabinet will consider the challenges faced by Roosevelt Hotel and also find solutions.
Framework guidelines for immediate actions on Solar PV will be approved.
The federal cabinet will also endorse the decisions of the previous day’s meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).
