Garrison University Lahore girl Manisha Ali clinched gold at the KASAD’s 6th Asian Taekwondo Championship, adding another feather to the varsity cap on Thursday.
Manisha won the gold at the +73kg-category contest in Tangerang, Indonesia, where she outshone hundreds of athletes from all over the world.
A couple of days ago, her sister, Maliha Ali secured the bronze in the 73kg category.
The event, hosted at the Indore Stadium Sports Center, witnessed tough competition.

The duo’s victory highlights Pakistan’s athletes’ strength internationally and is a source of inspiration to young athletes.
The twins are from the Hunza valley and she is among the Gilgit Baltistan students studying at the Garrison University Lahore.
Pakistan's 16-member squad, led by Lieutenant Colonel Zeeshan Asl am, with Master Yusuf Karami as the head coach prepared extensively for the championship.
