Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said on Thursday that the government had introduced solid economic reforms in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He was talking to the US Ambassador in Pakistan Donald Blome, who called on him in Islamabad.
The minister said the government was implementing the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) transformation plan, and efforts were also being made to revive the loss-making state-owned entities.
Similarly, he added, steps had been taken to resolve the energy crisis.
Both also discussed trade relations between the two countries.
