Federal Minister Javed Latif Monday said that the public along with the party workers will give Nawaz Sharif a grand welcome on his return, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Javed Latif said that Nawaz Sharif gave the idea and the slogan of “respect the vote” and he went through a lot of sufferings while backing it. His supporters who truly respect the vote and honor the democracy are waiting for their leader’s return and will give him a grand welcome.

He said that Nawaz Sharif wanted to return on the given dates earlier but the then Chief Executive blocked his path.

The government at the time of the May 9 and 10 incidents held itself accountable before its own institution and had many involved people arrested, said Javed Latif.

Concluding his speech, he said that he is not in favor of ban imposed on any political party but a terrorist behind the facade of a political personality is also not acceptable.
