In a reply to Khawaja Asif’s statement, Barrister Gohar made it clear that PTI did not agree on constitutional amendment as government has not given them copy of the draft despite several requests.
He said Khawaja Asif is not part of the special committee of Parliament and Opposition did not discuss consent until December.
Barrister Gohar clarified that PTI did not support any constitutional amendment. PTI has asked the government for a draft so that the full details come out. He said Opposition’s consent is invalid when the draft is not shown.
