ICC delegation lands in Karachi to evaluate Champions Trophy 2025 preparations

An International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation arrived in Karachi last night as part of the preparations for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.


As per the report, the delegation will conduct a detailed visit to the National Bank Stadium, assessing the security arrangements and other logistical aspects to ensure the venue meets international standards.


During their visit, the ICC team is scheduled to meet with local law enforcement agencies to discuss and review security measures for the tournament.


Upon completing their visit, the delegation will compile a comprehensive report detailing their findings and recommendations for hosting the event successfully.


ICC delegation visits National Stadium


 


The remaining four members of the ICC delegation have arrived at the National Stadium in Karachi. The delegation includes Senior Manager Events Sarah Edgar, Security Manager David Musker, GM Cricket Wasim Khan, ICC Broadcast Consultant Mansoor Manj, and Event Manager Aun Zaidi.


PCB officials provided a briefing to the ICC delegation. The team reviewed the renovations and preparations at the National Stadium for the Champions Trophy and also assessed the security arrangements.


They toured various areas of the National Stadium Karachi to inspect the ongoing preparations.
