Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq Tuesday lambasted the previous government of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the press conference in Lahore, Sirajul Haq said PTI got the opportunity but could not deliver.
Sirajul Haq claimed that PTI’s government was the only one, which had the full support of the Establishment.
Sirajul Haq also said that the nation has high expectations from the incumbent Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Interestingly, yesterday Siraj ul Haq received a phone call from the ex-premier Imran Khan and they had a discussion in detail over the political situation in the country. They also discussed bilateral issues and issues of mutual interest.
Imran Khan had said that the government was removed under a formal conspiracy, adding that forces with national interest and patriotism must work together to thwart this conspiracy.
Besides this, Sirajul Haq had extended best wishes to PTI Chairman and ex-premier.
It was also discussed that Pervez Khattak and Asad Qaiser will carry out the duty of developing relations with Jamaat-e-Islami with the direction and approval of Imran Khan.
