LHC stops Accountability Court for proceeding against former NAB chairman

In the Tayyaba Gul case, the Lahore High Court (LHC) ordered to stop the ongoing proceedings in the Accountability Court against former chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Javed Iqbal and others.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, a two-member bench headed by LHC Chief Justice Amir Bhatti heard the applications of Javed Iqbal and others in the Tayyaba Gul case on Wednesday.
After hearing the arguments of the lawyers, the court issued a notice to Tayyaba Gul and the parties and sought their response.
The lawyer of former chairman NAB Javed Iqbal, while giving arguments said that Tayyaba Gul filed baseless applications against the former chairman NAB, NAB Lahore director general and others.
The lawyer said that illegal proceedings are ongoing against the former NAB authorities in several forums including the Accountability Court Lahore to defame them. 
Former NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal's lawyer appealed to the court to issue a stay order to stop the proceedings on the petitions of Tayyaba Gul.
