Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) snatched the right of the poor to contest the election with a small pocket and fixed heavy form fees for party tickets for all candidates.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, PTI has fixed the fee of Rs0.2 million for the ticket form for MNA and Rs0.1 million for MPA's party ticket form.

PTI Sindh Election Cell chief Firdous Shamim Naqvi opposed the party leadership's decision to sell the ticket form and said that the high fee will discourage poor party workers.

It is worth mentioning that a day ago, alleged leaked audio of PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry exposed

his dealing in party ticket distribution and meeting with ex-PM Imran Khan.

In the purposed audio leak, Chaudhry Hafeez reminded Ijaz of Rana Shaukat who wants a PTI ticket for PP 114 election and asked how much will be paid for it.

Ijaz Ch can be heard telling Chaudhry Hafeez that meeting with Imran Khan will cost at least Rs10 million.

After that, the person asked twice how much donation would have to be given to Shaukat Khanum, to which Ejaz Ch tells him that there is no limit to the donation.

“Donate as much as you want. If  you want a ticket from PP-114, you have to come immediately because now the selection of candidates from Faisalabad has started.”
