Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Director General Shoaib Khoso has been dismissed from his post and IPC Additional Secretary Zahoor Ahmed has been given an additional charge, reported 24NewsHd TV channel Friday.

As per the notification issued by the Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC), Shoaib Khoso will be given one month's advance salary.

Shoaib Khoso assumed the charge as Director General of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) after the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in April 2023.

The then prime minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the appointment of Khoso after reviewing the summary sent by the IPC Ministry for the post of DG PSB.

Khoso took charge of his post after the notification issued by the Establishment Division as Director General PSB (MP II scale) on a contract basis for three years. Shoaib Khoso holds a Master’s Degree in Finance.

Khoso is also under investigation regarding holding a fake degree and other allegations.
