Aurangzeb off to US to take part in World Bank, IMF meetings

Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Aurangzeb on Saturday left for the United States (US) to take part in spring season 2025 meetings of World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) from April 21 to April 26, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.

During his stay in the United States, Federal Minister for Finance will hold important discussions with finance ministers of China, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye.

Mohammad Aurangzeb will also take part in different meetings with officials of United States Department of State and Treasury. 

He will also participate in meetings with heads of global rating agencies and commercial and investors banks.

The Finance Minister will participate in 13th session ministerial level meeting of climate change.

Se nator Mohammad Aurangzeb will address the participants of a round-table conference titled “Economic picture of Pakistan, latest progress on economic and revenue and reforms and relations with IMF”.

The Finance Minister will address a session which will be organized under of auspicious of Centre for Global Development (CDG).

During his hectic schedule, he will hold discussions with President of Global Policies and Legal section of Gates Foundation  Madam Gargee Ghosh.

The Federal Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb will attend meetings with UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Financial Health Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.

Mohammad Aurangzeb will also visit renowned think tanks of the United States and address a session titled “Year 2025 and economic challenges being faced by Pakistan.

Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb will also hold detailed meetings with representatives of American and international media during his stay in the United States.
