Leading Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan aka 'Ertugrul’ via a Facebook live session attended a ceremony held in Karachi and fulfilled the wishes of three Pakistani children of Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Children Sidra, Fiza and Sohail presented a gift sword to Altan. Turkish Consulate General received the gift on Engin Altan’s behalf. The children wore Turkish outfits from the drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul.
Karachi Commissioner, Pakistani superstar Humayun Saeed and others were also present on the occasion.
The Turkish actor while addressing the ceremony said he was very happy for the love the Pakistanis have showed for him.
Mirza Isihtiaq Baig of Make a Wish Foundation speaking in 24@9 programme of 24NewsHD TV channel said, the foundation has fulfilled around 30,000 wishes in the last 13 years but this wish was very difficult.
He said almost Ertugrul was ready to fly into Pakistan but due to the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic his managers suggested to hold a virtual session.

Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan founder Ishtiaq Baig said that Altan Duzyatan (Ertugrul) is so popular in Pakistan that “even if he contests election here, he will honestly win and become a member of the parliament.”
Sidra said she was happy on fulfilling her wish while Sohail said he liked the Turkish drama because the series narrated Islam’s history.
