By now, everyone must be aware of the distressing incident that took place at Minar-e-Pakistan during which female TikToker Ayesha Akram was assaulted in broad daylight by 400 men.
This incident took place at Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore on 14th August (Independence Day).
As soon as the incident gained recognition over the internet, Pakistani netizens started raising voices against the insensitivity and brutality Miss Akram had to endure.

However while many are supporting the TikToker, there are also some people who think that Ayesha is playing the ‘woman card’ to acquire followers.
Former actress Sanam Chaudhry has stated: “Woh videos dekh ker meri rooh kaanp gayee lekin Ayesha ka dukh mujhe kyoun nazar nahi aa raha? Allah mujhe maaf kare if I am wrong.”
Chaudhry further elaborated: “I am unable to digest that she has the time to make such videos.”

Showbiz personality Mathira also had an opinion regarding Miss Akram which she shared in response to Sanam’s post: “Sorry but I thought the same trauma and sorrow is not at all shown on her face or maybe what happened is seriously wrong but I think she has decided to cash this unfortunate incident.”
