In Hafizabad, the brothers of notorious dacoit 'Dhamaka Daku' who was killed in a police encounter took revenge by murdering a citizen they suspected of tipping off the police.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the dacoit’s brothers suspected that Akram had informed the police about their brother, leading to his death in an encounter two months ago.
The suspects, believing that the victim, Akram alias "Kalu," had informed the police about their brother, shot him dead.
Following the murder, Hafizabad police arrived promptly at the scene, and Akram's body was shifted to the hospital for a post-mortem examination before being handed over to his family.
A case has been registered against the suspects, who managed to flee the scene immediately after the crime. Law enforcement agencies are pursuing the suspects, and efforts to bring them to justice are ongoing.
