Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Sunday advised workers to report the violations of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) directly.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Bilawal tweeted the PPP workers on Sunday and also urged the ECP to ensure free and fair LB elections in KP.
Unveiling the rigging attempts from ruling PTI in elections in his fresh tweets, the PPP chairman said PTI people have been caught red-handed stamping ballot papers before starting polling.
Bilawal said ANP candidate in Dera Ismail Khan was assassinated a day before polling and the members of his family accused the PTI minister of first trying to bribe him then killing him.
The PPP chairman said there have been reports of PTI ransacking polling stations attacking polling staff including women on the polling day.
He also criticized the ruling PTI people that they were resorting to violence and rigging to try and undermine the people’s choice.
Bilawal appealed to the people of KP to not be feared by PTI tactics and also directed all PPP workers to report violations to their party election cell or directly to the ECP.
