Professor of Peace and Conflict Research Ashok Swain on Monday revealed the reality of Hindu supremacy in India claiming full ownership of the colour saffron.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, known scholar Prof Ashok Swain in his tweet on Monday exposed the misconception of Indian Hindus about the Saffron colour.
Prof Ashok Swain said in his new tweet, “Strange that Hindu supremacists in India claim total ownership over the saffron color, but the only place where saffron is grown in India is in Kashmir; the only people who grow saffron are Muslims.
Known scholar Prof Dr Ashok Swain is an academic and professor of peace and conflict research at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University.
In 2017, he was appointed as the UNESCO Chair of International Water Cooperation and became the first UNESCO Chair of Uppsala University.
Swain received his Ph.D. in 1991 from the School of International Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.
Swain has been living in Sweden for the past 32 years.
