A survey showed 46 per cent of the people of Lahore wanted to cast their vote for Pakistan Muslim League-N during the upcoming general elections
According to a survey conducted by the Centre for Public Opinion Research (CPOR), 29 per cent of Lahore resident expressed their resolve to elect the PTI and 7 TLP.
More than 1,000 people from Lahore were interviewed in the survey.
It showed 34% of citizens expressed their desire to see Shehbaz Sharif as the Punjab chief minister, 11 per cent Ch Parvez Elahi and 4 per cent Abdul Aleem Khan.
It found 47% of people wanted to see the PML-N candidate as the prime minister and, 29% PTI prime minister.
About the important issues, 42 per cent of citizens cited a shortage of gas as the single most important problem, 15 per cent pointed out poor sewage as the biggest problem and 12 per cent stressed potable water as the biggest problem.
The survey showed that 23 per cent of citizens blamed the previous PTI government for all problems while 18 per blamed the situation on the PDM government and 17 percent held the PTI and the PML-N both responsible for the issues
It found 63 per cent of Lahore residents declared Nawaz Sharif as their favourite figure while 57 per cent of citizens liked Shehbaz Sharif and 45 Imran Khan.
