Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman at the JI headquarters in Mansora, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
They discussed law and order and other political matters during the meeting.
The situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially Kurram Agency also came under discussion during the meeting.
The interior minister said maintaining law and order in the country is the government's top priority. He informed the JI chief about the agreements with IPPs
Naeemur Rehman presented proposals related to K-Electric and urged the Pakistani government to play its role in resolving the Palestine issue.
The interior minister said the prime minister has been raising the matter at every forum.
JI Secretary General Ameerul Azeem and Deputy Ameer Dr Osama were also present.
