Members of the negotiations team of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) did not reach Adiala Jail on Thursday despite instructions of the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan.

According to reports, Imran Khan had called negotiations team leader Omar Ayub Khan, former National Assembly Asad Qaisar, Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWMP) chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and former Supreme Court Bar Association president Hamid Khan for a meeting inside Adiala Jail on Thursday, but only Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and lawyer Salman Akram Raja reached the jail for a meeting with their party founder.

Gandapur held a meeting with Imran Khan before and after the hearing of the GHQ gate crash case inside Adiala Jail. He held a group meeting and a one-to-one meeting with Imran Khan. He discussed with Imran Khan issues like PTI’s upcoming civil disobedience movement, prevailing political and economic conditions in the country, issues related to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the FIRs registered against the party leaders.
