Home side Lahore Qalandars have won the toss and chose to bat first against Islamabad United in 27th match of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Gaddafi Stadium.
Despite losing Yesterday's (Friday) game against Karachi Kings, Qalandars have already earned a place in the playoffs as they appear to be in top form with 10 points, having won five matches out of eight matches.
However, the match is of particular importance to injury-hit Islamabad United as they seek the place at the next stage and need only a win to cement their place to the play-offs and eliminate the Gladiators. But the absence of key players due to injury can create difficulties for them, as the regular skipper Shadab Khan is unlikely to feature tonight due to a groin injury.
