A friendly match between Lahore and Faisalabad’s women basketball teams turned into a battlefield on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The final match of the Women Basketball League was being played in Islamabad when suddenly two players each from every team got into a fistfight which soon turned into a no-holds-barred event where players used punches, slaps and even pulled each other’s hairs.

The supervising officers intervened and cooled down both the teams. However, the match could not be restarted for a few hours as both the teams demanded the expulsion of ‘guilty’ players.
The match restarted without any expulsion after a further delay.
