Pakistan embassy in Malaysia has distanced itself from the ongoing controversy of holding a Pakistan International Airlines plane in Kuala Lumpur, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel Tuesday.
Pakistan Ambassador in Malaysia Amna Baloch while talking to 24News correspondent Wasif Malik said the embassy has nothing to do with the issue that when the PIA plane would be released or be sent back to Pakistan.
She said the issue was between the Malaysian Civil Aviation authorities and PIA administration and only PIA could give an appropriate response regarding this issue.
Amna Baloch said it was the embassy’s responsibility to look after the stranded passengers and make the travel arrangement for the passengers and their luggage to Pakistan.
She said the Pakistan embassy diligently fulfil its duty and extended all the facilities to the passengers and had made the arrangements for their return to the country.
