Usman Buzdar led government has obliged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ministers and party ticket holders in development funds and ignored the opposition.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, under the District Development Package Phase 2, around 141 development schemes will be started with Rs5 billion in Lahore.
Under the package, 89 schemes of local government and city district government, 22 schemes of urban development, 7 schemes of school education, 2 schemes primary and secondary health, 2 schemes LDA, one scheme C&W and 22 PHE schemes.
DC Lahore Muhammad Umar Sher Chattha has sent a summary of 141 development schemes to the secretaries of relevant departments who will seek approval of these schemes from the Standing Committee on Finance.
The sources said work on these schemes is expected to start in the next 2 months.
About the details of the schemes, 28 development schemes at a cost of Rs901 million will be completed in the NA-125 constituency of Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid.
Similarly, 25 development schemes at a cost of Rs400 million will be completed in the NA-130 constituency of Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood.
In Abdul Halim Khan's constituency PP-158, 6 development schemes at a cost of Rs400 million will be completed.
In Provincial Minister Murad Rass’ constituency PP-159, five development schemes at a cost of Rs400 million will be completed.
Ten development schemes will be completed in the PP-160 constituency of Provincial Minister Mian Mahmood Rasheed at a cost of Rs400 million.
Different schemes in the constituencies of the PTI ticket holders Mehr Wajid Azeem, Mohiuddin, Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmed Dial, Humayun Akhtar, Chaudhry Mansha, Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Malik Zaheer Abbas, Khalid Mahmood, Zaman Naseeb, Ajasim Sharif, Zubair Niazi, Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar, Muhammad Irshad Dogar, Muhammad Iftikhar, Shoaib Siddiqui, Bilal Aslam, Chaudhry Yousuf Ali, and Abdul Karim will be completed at a cost of Rs250 million each.
