A van driver was brutally tortured by seven persons in Chiniot on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police registered an FIR against five nominated and two unknown attackers after Chiniot DPO took notice of the incident.
The incident occurred in Police Station Laliyan premises at Sangra Road.
Police arrested two accused named Umair Haider and Nadeem Abbas and put them behind the bar after the accused viral the video of torture on the social networking websites.
Police said that the search teams were looking for the other accused involved in the incident.
In the video it can be seen that attackers tortured the driver with sticks and thrashed him on the road.
