Desperate husband burns himself after angry wife’s refusal to return home

A man attempted to end his life after failing to reconcile with his angry wife in Larkana on Sunday.

According to details, Wazir Hussain, a distraught husband, set himself on fire by sprinkling petrol over his body after being unable to persuade his wife to return home. 

Sources revealed that Wazir Hussain was visiting his in-laws to convince his wife to live with him again. Frustrated by her repeated refusal, he took the extreme step.

The victim suffered 60 percent burns and was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition in the burns ward.

The sources further shared that the man's wife was adamant about not returning to live with him, leading him to take such a drastic action.
