Police in Gulberg, Lahore on Sunday registered an FIR on the complaint of a trader, who said that he had received a video message from some men in which they had demanded from him extortion money amounting to Rs5 million, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In his complaint, Abdul Wahab, the trader, said that extortionists, in the video call, had also shown him photographs of his family members and bullets.
The trader demanded the government to provide protection to him as well as his family members.
However, despite the registration of a case, the police could not trace the extortionists till last reports came in.
