The provisional merit list for admissions to government medical and dental colleges in Punjab has been released, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
According to the report, the University of Health Sciences (UHS) has uploaded a list of the top 4,000 eligible candidates on its official website.
A UHS spokesperson stated that the provisional list has been issued for admissions under open merit and quota seats. Out of the total, only 3,121 candidates are likely to secure admission to MBBS programs on open merit.
The minimum expected open merit for MBBS admissions is projected to be 94.3%.
Candidates can raise objections regarding the provisional merit list within 24 hours. However, objections will only be accepted through the online complaint portal, and relevant documentary evidence must be uploaded along with the complaint.
Medical colleges will be allocated to candidates based on their merit and preferences provided during the application process.
The first selection list for the allocation of seats in 17 government medical colleges will be published on January 20.
