As many as 34 people died and scored injured as a passenger bus and trailer collide at Taunsa road near Dera Ghazi Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.
An over speeding bus heading from Daska to Rajanpur collided with a trailer near the Jhok Yar Shah area on Taunsa road resulting in the deaths of 34 people.
All the rescue teams reached the scene and have started shifting the injured to the teaching hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan.

According to the rescue officials, there are near 45 injured passengers and private vehicles are also being used to shift the injured to the hospital.
An emergency has been declared at the trauma centre of the DG Khan hospital.
The dead bodies of 31 passengers have been identified as relatives mourned the death of their loved ones in the hospital. RPO Fisal Rana also reached the spot of the accident whereas Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar while expressing his sorrow over the incident has ordered the concerned departments to carry out a detailed investigation and identify the culprits behind the negligence that led to the disastrous incident.
An injured passenger Shoaib has told 24NewsHD TV that the race cable of the bus was out of order and the driver was operating the race cable by his hand while he has almost no control on the steering wheel as he was overspeeding the bus.
According to the officials, most of the deceased were young persons and labourers who were returning to their home towns for Eidul Azha.
