Namaz-e-Janaza of Anza Tariq, son of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry was offered at the central secretariat of PML-N Chak Shahzad, Islamabad, the 24NewsHD TV channel v on Tuesday.
Apart from political and social figures, a large number of people from all walks of life attended the funeral prayer.
Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, opposition leader Raja Riaz and Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal were prominent among the politicians who attended the funeral prayer.
Anza Tariq, the son of Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, was buried in the ancestral cemetery.
Speaking before the funeral prayer, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that we are grateful to those who shared our grief.
“I am deeply grateful to those who attended my son's funeral. Pray for the forgiveness of my son,” he added.
