The National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) has turned out to be a “defaulter” of millions of rupees of Wapda prompting the Authority to put the Company on notice for vacating all its offices located in Wapda House in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The Wapda directed the NTDC which owes Rs520 million to the Authority on account of rents and other matters to vacate all the offices by September 1.
According to sources, the Wapda also issued a notice of default among to Rs520 million to the NTDC, directing it to deposit the amount before vacating the offices.
The Wapda said it also finding it hard to arrange rooms for its own officers and in many case have arranged accommodation for its officers on rent despite having own rooms.
