Pakistani security forces on Sunday killed seven terrorists in two different operations continued in the Makran area of Balochistan and Miran Shah, an area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Pak army conducted a search operation in the central Makran mountain range, near Paroom in Balochistan and killed six terrorists.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an operation on the information of the presence of terrorists belonging to the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) in Central Makran.
The ISPR said that these terrorists were involved in attacks on posts of security forces besides the recent planting of an improvised explosive device (IED) on convoys of security forces in Proom and surrounding areas of Panjgur.
In addition, arms and ammunition have also been recovered, which were intended to be used by the terrorists for disrupting peace and security in the area.
Security Forces, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging the peace, stability and progress of Balochistan.
In a separate operation in the North Waziristan district of KP on Saturday night, a fire exchange took place between terrorists and Pak army troops in which one terrorist got killed is identified as Zia Ullah. Weapon and ammunition were also recovered from the custody of the terrorist.
During the exchange of fire, the Pak army’s Naik Zahid Ahmed, who was 32 years old and a resident of Charsadda, having fought gallantly and embraced Shahadat.
