IPP forms to end widespread hatred in country: Firdous Awan

Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) information secretary Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that aim of the newly established political party is to end widespread hatred in the country, reported the 24newsHD TV channel.

Addressing her maiden press conference after assuming the charge of IPP central secretary of information in Lahore on Sunday, she said the party leadership has given her an important responsibility to build a bridge between the media and the party.

She said Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party is a platform where only the problems of the country will be discussed, adding that a plan to solve the problems being faced by the country will be put before the nation in the next few days.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq said the manifesto of the IPP will be placed in front of the nation within a few days.

She claimed that numerous people have joined the party. More than a hundred PTI ticket holders and former MNA and MPs joined the party on the first day, she added.

She said that the people are the real capital of Pakistan and the party is working on a strategy to solve their problems.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq said that there is uncertainty prevailing in every sector of society and increasing extremism in the country is yet another big problem.

In this grim situation, IPP believes only collective efforts are required to get the country out of crises, she hinted, adding that everyone should sit together and find a solution to the problems.

At least the roadmap for the next 30 years should be presented to the nation and a common economic agenda needs to be presented by all parties together, Dr. Firdous Ashiq said.

She said that the leadership should have only a one-point agenda to improve the country economically.  

She said that Jahangir Tareen stressed all these dreams for the realization of all these dreams.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq that the party will play a role in solving the basic problems of the people.
