Former captain and legendary batsman Javed Miandad on Sunday reiterated that Pakistan should refuse to play in India unless they come to Pakistan, reported the 24newsHD TV channel.
Addressing the Sindh Premier League event, he predicted one day Modi will get beaten by his own countrymen.
He said that India’s behavior is not acceptable. Especially, Indian Prime Minister Modi, the day will come when their own people will kill him because he is going in a different direction. You cannot change your neighbors, he added.
He stated that as long as Modi is there nothing good can happen. “Modi has destroyed not only cricket but also India.”
Legendary cricketer Javed Miandad claimed that the Pakistan team and its players are better than India.
Miandad also talked about how the India-Pakistan series used to be in the past and also called out India’s behavior, specifically mentioning Modi’s policies. It has always been like this, one year we’d play there, and the next year they’d visit us.
Sports is something that unites people. It is used to build relations between two countries,” Miandad said, adding cricket should be apolitical.
Miandad emphasized that Pakistan’s cricket is better than India's and we should not worry about them.
“If it was up to me I would simply refuse. India is supposed to come and play cricket in Pakistan,” he added.

It was my dream that cricket should develop in Sindh and it seems that SPL will fulfill my dream.
SPL will be a good platform for young cricketers. Due to sports, youths stay away from evils, he said adding that game is very important for children.
