The number of ruling Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) members of the National Assembly (MNAs) bidding farewell to the party is increasing by the day as four more federal ministers and 10 MNAs have contacted the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) high-command in recent days, assuring the joint opposition of their support for the no-trust motion against the government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Sources told 24News TV channel that interesting thing is that Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a PTI MNA from Karachi, who often makes headlines because of his strange habits, has also approached the PPP.

Shehbaz condemns attack on Sindh

Meanwhile, condemning the attack by PTI workers on the Sindh House as well as their protests outside the residences of party’s turncoats, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has said this shows that the no-trust motion has been passed.

In a statement, he has said that such attacks are an attempt by ‘selected’ prime minister to create a civil war like situation in the country. “Imran Khan, on whose orders the PTI workers had attacked the Parliament House and other government buildings is now again in a ‘destructive’ mode,” Shehbaz said, and warned the government against taking the law into its own hands, saying the premier will have to pay for the incidents like the attack that was carried out on the Sindh House yesterday (Friday, March 18)

From Tehrik-e-Insaf to Tehrik-e-Inteshar

Senior PPP leader Sherry Rehman has advised ruling Tehreek-I-Insaf to change its name to Tehreek-I-Inteshar. In a tweet uploaded on Saturday, she said “They are doing everything possible to subvert the rule of law and the constitution in order to save their govt which has lost its mandate and MNAs. Coercion of members will not help, nor will threats to the federation.”

Imran Khan has lost power, says PPP

The Pakistan People’s Party has said that Imran Khan has lost his majority and hence his government since Friday, now he is just a ‘selected’ prime minister, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Bilawal House, Karachi spokesperson in a statement on Saturday said that since yesterday Imran Khan’s government had come to an end as he had lost his majority. He said as per the constitution, the Imran cabinet had ceased to exist after losing majority in the parliament.

He said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari brought the entire nation on the same page against Imran-goonism.

The spokesman gave a piece of advice to all federal ministers to take down flags from their houses and vehicles. He said those who were obeying Imran Khan’s order, they were deviating from the orders of the constitution.

He said if the premier could not face the no-confidence motion, he could have taken the vote of confidence. He stated that the majority of PTI members took offense when the party MNAs were called ‘jackals’.

The spokesman said that Bilawal was Zulfikar Ali Bhutto of the current age who brought around the entire nation against Imran Khan.
