Phenomenal Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been lately targeted for her ‘meh’ fashion options during the extravagant Cannes Film Festival 2024, finally came in great ‘defense’ for her sartorial picks, expressing consent for her 'surprised' looks while saying confidently “It was magical.”


It is important to mention that Every year, the actress represents India on the international platform and makes a bold statement with her fashion game. But this year, it seems to be a big miss, as netizens and fashion critics from all over the world are not happy with Aishwarya's style choices.


Moving on, Latley Aishwarya sat for a conversation with Vogue about her first Cannes look. The diva added that her dear friends, Shane and Falguni Peacock created her first look. She shared that the idea behind the dress was to depict a 'gilded glow,' but to her, the look was just 'magical'. She divulged that for the makeup, they wanted to create a 'fresh look' and keep it 'easy' and 'beautiful'.



For the unversed, Aishwarya Rai, on her first day at Cannes 2024, opted for a black and white gown with golden 3D flowers. As per the designer duo, Falguni and Shane Peacock, the black silhouette resembled Aishwarya's classic aura, and the gold detailing depicted her shining career journey. However, the outfit failed to impress the onlookers, and they pointed out that the look did not enhance Aishwarya's beauty; instead, it made her look shabby and unflattering.



For the second day at Cannes, Aishwarya slipped into a shimmery ruffle gown in silver and blue hues. The dress had ruffles in the sleeves and midriff that glided down to the bottom and on the trail. For her glam, Aishwarya opted for vibrant eye makeup in blue tones to match her dress and kept her lips and base neutral and dewy. She curled her hair and left it loose and centre-parted them.
