Bilawal says Imran’s govt is going in January

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari thanking the Gilgit Baltistan people for voting for PPP candidates in November 15 elections said the PTI won majority seats but the PPP grabbed most number of votes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The PPP chairman asked for explanations about the photos of the Chief Election Commissioner of Gilgit Baltistan and GB Governor with Kashmir Affairs Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

Bilawal demanded that 7,000 women voters were not allowed to cast their votes and demanded their due right. “I hope GB-3 will also show its confidence and trust in PPP candidates just like the rest of the GB people have voted for PPP candidates,” he added.

Bilawal said the PPP is in contact with few independent candidates while results have not been provided. “That is itself a controversial thing.”

He claimed that Imran Khan’s government is going in January and foremost we have to oust Imran Khan.

It may be mentioned here that PTI won 10 seats and independent candidates won seven seats while the country’s two largest opposition parties, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) won three seats and two seats respectively in the elections.

The Gilgit-Baltistan legislative assembly consists of 24 directly elected seats, in addition to nine reserved seats for women and political appointees that are allocated based on a proportional representation basis. The house has 33 seats in total.

Bilawal Bhutto was talking to media persons at Gilgit Airport. 

The TV channel reported that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also extended his stay in Gilgit Baltistan due to his busy schedule in GB and delayed his departure to Islamabad.
