Adviser to the Prime Minister on Interior Affairs and Accountability Shehzad Akbar Friday revealed that a new extradition treaty with the UK has been drafted and would move into the cabinet for approval soon.

According to the 24News, Shehzad said that they have also included a demand of sharing the criminal record of the persons who have been deported from the UK.

He said they had written three letters to the UK government to oust former premier Nawaz Sharif under the British laws because applying for his extradition could take a long time.

The PM adviser also said that they had told the British Home Department that the visit visa of Mian Nawaz Sharif couldn’t be extended.

On the issue of giving the right of appeal to Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadav, Shehzad said India could go to the international court of justice (ICJ) again if they do not pass the bill.

However, he confirmed that passing the bill was not a way of releasing Kulbhushan but to implement the punishment.

Shehzad said there was no advantage of opening the Hudabia case at this time against Ishaq Dar only.

Talking about the issue of Justice ® Rana Shamim’s affidavit, he said the facts in it were not correct.
